A Bit About Me
My passion for photography started in 2019 in college, when I first picked up a Polaroid and began experimenting with analogue photography. In 2021, I was encouraged by my mentor at the time, Deborah Pinter, to buy a digital camera, and so I bought a Fujifilm X-T3. At this time, I also started working at a photography studio as a virtual editor, using Adobe Lightroom Classic to cull and edit large batches of photos.

These two experiences, my experimenting with a digital camera and my usage of Adobe Lightroom for work, very quickly led me to some freelance opportunities on campus at my liberal arts college in Cleveland. I began photographing theatre and dance performances, both as a photographer for the student newspaper, and as a contracted employee for the University. In 2022, I became the Senior Photography Editor on the student newspaper, The Exponent, directing the photography team, editing all photos for print and for digital media, and working as a liaison with other organizations. I was even able to do presswork for the 2022 Cuyahoga County Executive Debate. For the rest of the 2022-2023 academic school year, I served in this position while also continuing to be contracted by my University to photograph all major academic and extracurricular events, such as plays, recitals, awards ceremonies, promotional events, graduation activities, and fraternity and sorority activities.

After graduation, I returned home and began doing photography and videography full time for miXt Food Hall, a position I had held part time since May of 2021. Here, I created social media content for the Hall and all its vendors, worked with local artists to get photos of their events, and captured promotional material for usage in and out of the food hall. Some of my work was even featured in newspapers such as The Hyattsville Wire.

Outside of contracted and full time work, I also had a lot of freelance ventures while in Cleveland and DC, mostly doing theatrical photography and headshots. When I made the move to NYC, I continued freelancing, having the opportunity to photograph some very talented plays around the city.

While in NYC, I have also had the opportunity to do photography for Journey Dance Competition. For their 2025 season, I did 12 regional competitions and both weeks of their nationals. I used the Canon R5 camera to capture over 50,000 images a day of very talented dancers doing their routines. This experience gave me some much needed skills in high volume and fast paced photography with quick turnarounds.

Moving forward, I am excited to continue photographing theatrical performances and pursuing portraiture. Having recently traded in my Fujifilm X-T3 for a full frame Nikon ZF, I can't wait to see the new ways in which I can capture talent and beauty for people to remember.
